🏰 2024 Can Castle for a Cause - Challenge & Food Drive 🥫

Get ready to put your creativity to the test….

Date: Thursday, November 21, 2024
Location: Indian River Mall Food Court
Time: Set up 3:30- 5:15pm (Building starts promptly at 5:30pm)

Join us for a thrilling competition where teams will build magnificent “castles” using only canned goods as building materials! The best part? After the event, all cans used will be donated to charities throughout Indian River County to help those in need during the holiday season.

Challenge Parameters:

• Floor Size: 10ft. X 10ft.
• Maximum Height: 6ft.
• Time Limit: 20 minutes to build
• Team Size: 4-10 members
• Judging Criteria: Creativity, Teamwork, Volume of cans used

Important Information:

• Only canned goods can be used for construction.
• No additional supplies allowed except those provided at the event by the event staff
• Signage outside the building space is allowed but will not be judged.
• Closed-toe shoes, gloves and safety glasses are recommended.
• At least one team member must be 21 years old.
• All teams must sign a photo release and hold harmless form (part of the registration form).

Prizes: The winning team will receive the prestigious Christmas Can Castle Building Challenge Trophy and bragging rights for the year!

Bring your friends and family to cheer you on! Can't make it in person? Catch the action live on Facebook and other social media platforms.The winning team will be awarded the Christmas Can Castle Building Challenge trophy and have the privilege of bragging rights to the  trophy that will have your group's name on it until the following year.  The trophy will then be passed on to the next year’s winner, and their name will be added.
